The Monett R-1 School District is seeking a dynamic Elementary Physical Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is shared between two buildings: a Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten building and a Fourth and Fifth Grade building. Coaching will be a requirement for this postion.

 

Qualified applicants should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both students and colleagues. Candidates should have the knowledge and skills necessary to design and implement a well-balanced, engaging, and developmentally appropriate physical education program for elementary students.

 

We are seeking individuals who work collaboratively, promote lifelong healthy habits, and communicate effectively and positively with students, families, and staff.
