Monett R-1 School District is accepting applications for a counselor at Monett High School for the 2021/2022 school year. Successful candidate will have or be able to obtain appropriate certification. Expectations include the ability to: work effectively as an individual and with others in reaching the goals of MHS; counsel groups/individuals as needed; assist students with the development of educational and career plans; meet with teachers, staff and parents regarding needs of students; oversee local, state and national assessments; and assist with new student enrollment and student records. Effective communication skills are a must.
