The Monett R-1 School District is seeking a self-contained 6th grade teacher.  Applicants must possess a degree in Elementary Education and Missouri Certification.  Familiarity with balanced literacy, MAP, Professional Learning Communities, BIST, Standards Based Learning, cooperative learning, highly-effective questioning and brain-based instruction would be beneficial. Successful candidates must possess great communication skills, good organizational and classroom management skills and love working with children.
