Monett R-1 School District is seeking qualified applicants for a Student Counselor at the Scott Regional Technology Center for the 2021-2022 school year. Successful candidates will have or be able to obtain appropriate certification with either a High School Counselor or Career Ed Counselor Certification being required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES /EXPECTATIONS

• Possess ability to be responsible for student enrollment and recruitment
• Assist students with the development of educational and career plans
• Work effectively as an individual and with others in reaching the goals of SRTC
• Work and communicate effectively with sending school counselors and administrators
• Counsel groups/individuals as needed,
• Meet with teachers, staff and parents regarding needs of students, and assist with building assessments.
• Possess effective communication skills
  
• Expect some travel to the sending schools as needed.
